  • 12 pieces Oreo cookies Double stuff works best, but regular is fine too.
  • 24 sticks Pretzel sticks Thin ones for spider legs.
  • 1 cup Candy eyes Or use M&Ms if unavailable.
  • 1 tablespoon Frosting or melted chocolate Just a little to secure the eyes.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Carefully twist each Oreo apart to separate the halves.
  2. Stick three or four pretzel sticks into the crème on each side for spider legs.
  3. Gently sandwich the cookie halves back together.
  4. Dab a bit of icing or melted chocolate where the eyes go, then attach the candy eyeballs.
  5. Pop the cookies in the fridge for a few minutes to set, or let them sit at room temperature if you're in a rush.

Notes

These cookies can be made a day in advance and stored in a Tupperware. Avoid adding candy eyes too early to prevent bleeding. You can also make variations with different toppings or styles.
