Ingredients

Crust & Eggs
  • 1 piece pizza crust (store bought dough, pre baked crust, or crescent roll dough)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk (any kind)
Meat & Cheese
  • 1 to 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a cheddar mozzarella blend)
  • 8 to 10 links breakfast sausage (cooked and sliced) or 1 cup crumbled sausage
Seasoning & Optional
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • a pinch garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (if your crust package indicates a different temperature, follow those instructions).
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned and cooked through. If using crumbled sausage, cook and drain any extra grease.
  3. Prepare the crust: If it's raw dough, stretch it onto a lightly greased pan. For pre-baked crust, simply place it on the pan.
Cooking
  1. Whisk the eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Cook in a nonstick pan on medium-low heat until slightly soft, pulling off the heat before they finish cooking.
  2. Assemble the pizza by sprinkling half the cheese on the crust, followed by the soft scrambled eggs, sausage, and the remaining cheese.
  3. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, or until the crust is cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly. For extra color, broil for 30 to 60 seconds, watching closely.
  4. Cut the pizza into squares for easy serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 1 month. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 8 to 12 minutes for the best texture.
