Ingredients

Fudge Base
  • 2 cups White chocolate chips Use high-quality white chocolate for best results.
  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk This adds creaminess and sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint extract Adjust according to taste; too much can taste harsh.
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Crushed candy canes Add for decoration and a crunchy texture.

Method

Preparation
  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract until well combined.
Setting the Fudge
  1. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  2. Sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the top, pressing them in gently.
  3. Allow fudge to cool at room temperature until set, about 2 hours.
Serving
  1. Once set, lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles.
  2. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate for longer storage.

Notes

White chocolate should not overheat to maintain a smooth texture. If making ahead, package well to preserve freshness. Can be frozen, but texture may change upon thawing.
