Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 to 6 lemons) Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk Adjust to taste based on desired sweetness.
  • 2-3 cups cold water Add gradually until desired consistency is reached.
  • ice For serving, fill glasses with ice.
Optional Enhancements
  • lemon zest For enhanced lemon flavor.
  • a pinch of salt Optional, to enhance flavor.
  • a splash of vanilla Optional, for a dessert-like taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Juice your lemons and strain out seeds. A little pulp is fine.
  2. In a bowl, whisk or blend the lemon juice with sweetened condensed milk until it thickens and turns pale.
  3. Add cold water a little at a time, stirring until it looks pourable but still creamy.
  4. Fill glasses with ice, pour the whipped lemonade in, and taste. Adjust water or milk as needed.

Notes

Chill all ingredients beforehand for a thicker drink. If making for guests, prepare the whipped base ahead of time and add cold water just before serving.
