Punch Base
  • 4 cups cranberry juice (unsweetened if possible) If cranberry cocktail is used, reduce the maple syrup.
  • 2 cups orange juice Fresh squeezed is preferred.
  • 2 cups pomegranate juice Can be swapped with more cranberry juice and a splash of grape juice if unavailable.
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons maple syrup Add to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice For a clean, bright finish.
Fizz
  • 4 cups ginger ale (chilled) Brings sweetness and spice.
  • 2 cups sparkling water (chilled) Keeps the drink fizzy.
Garnishes
  • as needed orange slices For decoration.
  • as needed lime wheels For decoration.
  • as needed fresh cranberries For decoration.
  • a few sprigs rosemary For decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, add cranberry juice, orange juice, and pomegranate juice.
  2. Stir in maple syrup a little at a time, tasting as you go.
  3. Add fresh lime juice for a clean, bright finish.
  4. Chill the base for at least 1 to 2 hours.
Serving
  1. Right before serving, add chilled ginger ale and sparkling water.
  2. Top with ice and your garnishes.

Notes

Make ahead by mixing the juices, maple syrup, and lime juice up to 24 hours ahead. Add ginger ale and sparkling water right before serving. Use a large ice chunk or ice ring to keep the punch cold without watering it down.
