Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat along with the chopped onions.
- Drain the grease from the cooked meat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and frozen veggies until well combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish and sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots evenly across the top of the mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the tater tots.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for crispy tater tots or microwave for a quicker option. To freeze, use a freezer-friendly container.
