Preparation
- Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to make one rectangle.
- Spread a thin layer of cream cheese across the dough.
- Add a thin layer of cooled taco meat, then sprinkle shredded cheese and taco seasoning over the top.
- Roll it up from the long side, making sure to keep it snug.
- Slice the roll into about 1-inch pieces.
Baking
- Place the sliced pinwheels seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
Notes
If you plan to serve them on a platter, let the pinwheels cool for about 5 minutes before transferring. Be careful not to overfill, as it can cause the pinwheels to unroll during baking. If making ahead, roll and chill or slice and chill before baking.
