- Fold in the drained pineapple, ensuring that it is well-drained to prevent a runny salad.
- Add the mini marshmallows and mix gently to combine.
- Fold in the whipped topping carefully, taking care not to overmix.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 to 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, add the crackle topping.
Crackle Topping
- Crush pretzels or graham crackers in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
- Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and sugar, then toast in a skillet until fragrant.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely before sprinkling on top of the salad.
Notes
Store covered in the fridge. Keeps for about 3-4 days. Store the crackle topping separately until serving to retain its crunch.
