Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper or foil and spray it lightly with baking spray.
- Press the cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Place the Oreos in a single layer on top of the cookie dough base.
- Pour the brownie batter over the Oreos and spread gently to avoid displacing the cookies.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 to 45 minutes. Start checking around 35 minutes. Toothpick should come out with moist crumbs but not wet batter.
- If edges appear to be darkening too much, lightly cover the pan with foil.
Cooling and Serving
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan to let the layers set. For cleaner slices, chill them for an additional 30 minutes before cutting.
- Slice into squares and serve slightly warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For eggless options, look for substitutes suitable for baking. These brownies can be stored at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerated for up to 5 days. You can also freeze them for up to 2 months.
