Ingredients
  

Pasta and Seafood
  • 12 oz spaghetti Use your favorite type of spaghetti.
  • 1 lb frozen shrimp Thaw them before using.
  • 1 cup squid rings
  • 1 cup scallops
  • 1 cup mussels Optional, based on preference.
Sauce Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp olive oil For sautéing garlic.
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes Good quality canned tomatoes preferred.
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.
  • 1 medium lemon Wedges, for serving.
Seasoning
  • to taste salt Salt the pasta water generously.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil a large pot of water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes to the skillet and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Add thawed shrimp, squid rings, scallops, and mussels into the tomato sauce.
  2. Cook seafood in the sauce for 3-5 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and squid is opaque.
  3. Once pasta is done, lift it directly into the sauce and toss together.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley and an optional squeeze of lemon.

Notes

Serve with lemon wedges and crusty bread. Enhance flavor by adding a pinch of red chili flakes for spice if desired.
