Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the sausage, cheddar, baking mix, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined, adding milk if necessary.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls, aiming for a size similar to walnuts.
- Place the sausage balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18 to 22 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- While the sausage balls bake, prepare the dip by mixing together mayonnaise, mustard, honey, chipotle, adobo sauce, salt, and black pepper. Adjust ingredients to taste.
- Serve sausage balls warm with the dip.
Notes
Let the sausage balls sit for about 5 minutes after baking to cool slightly. They can be frozen unbaked or baked for later use. The dip can be made a day prior and stored in the fridge.
