Preparation
- Soften the cream cheese by leaving it on the counter for 30-45 minutes or microwave it for a few seconds.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped salami, cheddar or pepper jack cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Use plastic wrap to scoop the mixture and twist it into a ball shape.
- Refrigerate the formed cheese ball for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, roll the cheese ball in chopped salami and parsley (or your choice of coating).
Notes
Chill for at least 2 hours for best texture. Adjust the toppings based on your preference. Serve with crackers, bread, and veggies for a complete snack board.
