Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (about 30 to 32 crackers) Non-negotiable base for the treats.
Filling
  • 1 cup peanut butter or cookie butter (or a thick frosting) Choose a thick filling to prevent oozing.
Coating
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet) For dipping.
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons coconut oil or butter (optional) Helps chocolate to melt smoother.
Finishing Touches
  • sprinkles or flaky salt (optional) Adds decoration and extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread about 1 teaspoon of filling on a cracker, then top with another cracker to make a sandwich.
Dipping
  1. Melt chocolate in the microwave in 20 to 30 second bursts, stirring each time. Add coconut oil if you want it extra silky.
  2. Dip each sandwich halfway or fully into chocolate. Let excess drip off.
  3. Place on the lined sheet, add sprinkles or a tiny pinch of flaky salt, then chill for 20 to 30 minutes.

Notes

Chill sandwiches before dipping to avoid mess. Don't overheat chocolate; add coconut oil if it thickens. Use a fork for easier dipping to avoid mess.
