  • 3 cloves garlic Add for aroma without overpowering the dish.
  • 1 cup beef broth For depth of flavor.
  • 4 ounces cream cheese or heavy cream For a creamy, scoopable sauce.
  • 8 ounces provolone or mozzarella cheese Melts beautifully.
  • 2 cups cooked pasta or potato cubes For a hearty base.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season in layers for best flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a hot skillet, brown the beef with a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Cook the onions and bell peppers until tender and slightly caramelized.
  4. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Stir in the broth and cream cheese (or heavy cream) until a silky sauce forms.
  6. In a casserole dish, combine the beef, sautéed vegetables, and cooked pasta or potato cubes.
  7. Top with provolone cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Let it rest after baking for about 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning before baking for best flavor.
