Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 36 pieces Oreos (regular, not Double Stuf) For the classic texture.
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened to mix easily.
  • 12 oz melting chocolate or candy melts Any type: white, milk, or dark.
Optional Toppings
  • as desired sprinkles For decoration.
  • as desired extra crushed Oreos For decoration.
  • as desired flaky salt For a salted vibe.
  • as desired mini chocolate chips For decoration.

Method

Preparation
  1. Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and using a rolling pin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until fully mixed.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the rolled balls for about 20 to 30 minutes until firm.
Dipping and Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate or candy melts in the microwave in short bursts, stirring often. If it's too thick, thin it with a bit of coconut oil or shortening.
  2. Dip each frozen ball into the melted chocolate using a fork, roll to coat, and let excess chocolate drip off.
  3. Place the coated balls on parchment paper and add any desired toppings quickly before the chocolate sets.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. These can also be frozen before or after dipping.
