Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 6 to 12 large eggs Large eggs Use large eggs for best results.
  • 1 cup Water Most Instant Pots need at least this much to come to pressure.
Equipment
  • 1 trivet or steamer rack Trivet or steamer rack This little metal insert keeps the eggs above water.
  • 1 bowl Bowl of ice water Used for icing the eggs after cooking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot insert.
  2. Set the trivet in and place the eggs on the trivet.
  3. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing.
Cooking
  1. Cook on High Pressure for 5 minutes.
  2. When it beeps, let it sit for 5 minutes (natural release). Then carefully do a quick release for the remaining pressure.
Finishing
  1. Move the eggs right into an ice bath for 5 minutes.
  2. Peel and enjoy, or store them for later.

Notes

Store unpeeled if possible, in a sealed container and label the date. Best within 7 days if unpeeled, 3-5 days if peeled. Use a paper towel in the container to absorb moisture if peeled.
