Toppings
  • 2 cups Low moisture mozzarella, shredded Shred your own for the best melt and flavor.

  • to taste Red pepper flakes (optional) Add for extra heat.
  • to taste Parmesan cheese (optional) For added flavor.
  • to taste Dried oregano (optional) For additional flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475 F (450 F works if your oven cannot handle 475 F).
  2. Stretch your dough on parchment paper, letting it rest for 10 minutes if it keeps shrinking back.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce or crushed tomatoes over the dough.
  4. Add shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  5. Scatter pepperoni slices over the cheese, overlapping some for varied texture.
Cooking
  1. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven until the crust is golden and pepperoni is sizzling, usually 10 to 14 minutes.
  2. Once baked, let it cool for 2 minutes before drizzling hot honey on top.
  3. If desired, sprinkle red pepper flakes for added heat.

Notes

If serving guests with varying spice preferences, consider drizzling hot honey in stripes or on individual slices. Avoid adding excessive watery toppings to prevent a soggy crust.
