  • 1 lb Pork tenderloin 1 to 1.5 pounds, choose one that looks evenly thick.
  • 1/2 cup Honey For sticky sweetness.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh is best.
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Use tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar Or rice vinegar for a pop.
  • 2 tbsp Butter Makes the glaze silky.
  • 1 tsp Salt To season the pork.
  • 1 tsp Pepper To season the pork.
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch Optional for thicker glaze.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan or use a baking dish.
  2. Pat the pork dry with paper towels and season all sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and butter. Warm until the butter melts and ingredients are combined. If using cornstarch, whisk with a bit of water and stir in, simmer for a minute to thicken.
  4. Brush or spoon some glaze over the pork and save the rest for later.
Cooking
  1. Bake the pork for 18 to 25 minutes, brushing with more glaze halfway through.
  2. Once done, let the pork rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or oven. You can prepare the glaze ahead of time and season the pork earlier in the day for convenience.
