Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough and cut it into rectangles, about 3 by 5 inches.
- Place a slice of ham and a mozzarella stick or a small pile of shredded mozzarella on each rectangle.
- Roll up the dough tightly around the filling and pinch the seams well.
- Brush the tops with melted butter or an egg wash and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
- Let them cool for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
To avoid soggy bottoms, keep the filling dry and use parchment paper. You can refrigerate assembled sticks for up to 24 hours before baking.
