Ingredients
  

For the crust and filling
  • 1 store-bought pie crust 1 store-bought pie crust or homemade if preferred
  • 1 cup 1 cup diced ham leftover ham works perfectly
  • 1 cup 1 cup shredded cheese any cheese type; cheddar or Swiss recommended
  • 4 large 4 large eggs for the filling
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup milk for creaminess
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 tsp black pepper to taste
Optional Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup chopped green onions for added flavor
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers for added color and taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  4. Stir in the diced ham, shredded cheese, and any optional ingredients like onions or bell peppers.
Cooking
  1. Pour the filling mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
Serving
  1. Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  2. Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally alongside a green salad or fresh fruit.

Notes

Quiche can be made ahead of time. Store in the fridge for up to four days or freeze for later. Reheat before serving for best results.
