  • 1 pack English muffins Can also use small flatbreads, naan, or tortillas.
For the toppings
  • 1 jar pizza sauce Any spaghetti sauce works in a pinch.
  • 1-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Sprinkle as much as desired.
  • Sliced black olives For spiders and eyes.
  • Pepperoni slices Cut into faces or fangs.
  • Sliced bell peppers Use orange for pumpkins and green for stems.
  • Small mushrooms, red onions, or other desired toppings

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Start with your base - split English muffins, naan, or tortillas in half.
  3. Spread tomato sauce over each base like painting with a brush.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
  5. Get creative with toppings: use black olives for spiders, pepperoni for jack-o-lantern teeth, and mozzarella strips for mummy bandages.
  6. Let kids decorate their own mini pizzas with their chosen toppings.
Baking
  1. Place the decorated mini pizzas on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Encourage kids to be creative with toppings. If there are any picky eaters, adjust toppings accordingly or let them choose their preferences. Parchment paper can help with easier cleanup.
