  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing Store-bought or DIY vinaigrette.
  • 1 cup candy eyeballs or sliced olives For extra 'eyes' on top.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions, avoiding overcooking to prevent mushiness.
  2. While the pasta cooks, halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the black olives.
  3. Prepare the mozzarella balls, optionally stuffing an olive slice onto each for effect.
  4. Drain and cool the pasta under cold water.
Assembly
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, olives, basil, mozzarella balls, mini pepperoni, and dressing.
  2. Mix gently to avoid squishing the cheese balls.
  3. Top with candy eyeballs or extra olive 'pupils' for a creepy touch.
  4. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

For variations, try swapping mozzarella with string cheese or adding veggies like broccoli or bell peppers. This dish is customizable - feel free to experiment!
