Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds Frozen meatballs You can also use homemade meatballs if preferred.
  • 1 cup Grape jelly Grab a jar you enjoy the taste of.
  • 1 cup Chili sauce You can find this near ketchup in the store.
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice For a tangy twist.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For added flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes If you prefer some heat.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add your frozen meatballs to the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, stir together grape jelly and chili sauce until it resembles a pink glaze.
  3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir gently to coat them.
Cooking
  1. Cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours or HIGH for 1.5 to 2.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  2. For stovetop, simmer everything in a large pot on low for about 20-30 minutes until heated through.
Serving
  1. Serve warm using toothpicks as an appetizer, or over rice or mashed potatoes for a main dish.

Notes

You can make these ahead of time and store them in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the slow cooker or stovetop. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of water.
