Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (176°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a big bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs, oil, and milk until mostly smooth.
- Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
- Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until the edges are golden and the center has a slight wobble.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm and gooey.
Notes
Store leftovers covered in the fridge. Best served warm, but also delicious cold.
