Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
- Rub the turkey all over with olive oil or butter, then season generously with salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs.
Cooking
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan. If using, add onion or lemon around it.
- Roast until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), using a thermometer for accuracy.
- Tent the turkey with foil and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Notes
Do not skip resting the turkey before slicing to retain the juices. Adjust seasoning as per taste and add optional ingredients to enhance flavor.
