  • 6 cups Crispy cereal squares (like rice or corn style)
  • 3 cups Pretzel twists
  • 2 cups Salted peanuts or mixed nuts
  • 1-2 cups Mini marshmallows (optional but fun)
  • 1-2 cups Plain M and Ms or chocolate candies
  • 16-20 ounces White chocolate chips or vanilla candy coating
  • to taste Sprinkles (optional, for the top)
  • 1 pinch Salt (if your mix is leaning too sweet)

Preparation
  1. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In your biggest bowl, toss together cereal, pretzels, nuts, and marshmallows if using them.
  3. Melt the white chocolate in a big microwave-safe bowl by heating for 30 seconds, stirring, and repeating until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the snack mix and gently stir until coated.
  5. Add the candies and give it a gentle stir before spreading the mix out on the lined trays. Sprinkle with sprinkles if desired.
  6. Let it set at room temperature for about 30 to 60 minutes until firm.

Notes

Tips: If the coating seizes, it may be due to overheating. Add a tiny spoonful of coconut oil, or retry with fresh chips and gentler heat. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 5 to 7 days.
