Preparation
- Slice your fruit first. Use thin citrus slices and bite-size pieces of softer fruit.
- Add the sliced fruit to a large pitcher.
- Pour in the chilled white wine and citrus juice.
- Stir in the sweetener. Start with a small amount, taste, and adjust as necessary.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Overnight is even better.
Serving
- Right before serving, add sparkling water or soda to the pitcher.
Notes
Keep extra chilled wine on standby in case the first pitcher goes quickly. Serve with complementary dishes like garlic shrimp scampi.
