Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs (or breasts) Thighs are preferred for grilling.
  • 1 cup Pickle juice Use dill or bread and butter pickle juice.
  • 1 tablespoon Oil For oiling the grill grates.
Optional Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Brown sugar A pinch for sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place chicken in a zip-top bag or bowl.
  2. Pour in pickle juice until the chicken is mostly covered. Seal or cover and refrigerate.
  3. Marinate for 1 to 4 hours.
  4. Remove chicken and let excess brine drip off; pat lightly with paper towels.
Cooking
  1. Preheat grill to medium heat and oil the grates.
  2. Grill chicken for 5 to 7 minutes per side, depending on thickness.
  3. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Do not reuse marinade. Store cooked chicken in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently to maintain juiciness.
