Easy Peach Sangria

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 bottle 750 ml white wine, chilled Choose a crisp white wine such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.
  • 2 to 3 pieces ripe peaches, sliced Fresh is best, but frozen works too.
  • 1 piece orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 piece lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 to 2 cups sparkling water or lemon lime soda Add right before serving.
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons peach schnapps or brandy Optional ingredient for extra flavor.
  • to taste simple syrup, honey, or peach nectar Optional sweetener.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add sliced peaches, orange, and lemon to a large pitcher.
  2. Pour the chilled white wine over the fruit and stir.
  3. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 to 4 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
  4. Just before serving, add sparkling water or lemon lime soda to the pitcher.

Notes

For the best flavor, add the fruit and wine together early. Serve fresh and cold. Avoid adding bubbles until serving to maintain fizz.
