  • 10-12 pieces Fresh jalapeños Choose firm and smooth jalapeños.
  • 8 oz Cream cheese Soften for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese Use pepper jack for a spicier flavor.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 2 tbsp Green onions Optional but adds flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Bacon bits Optional for added taste.
  • 1 can Crescent roll dough Use for the mummy-style preparation.
  • as needed spray Cooking spray For baking or air frying.

Preparation
  1. Wash the jalapeños, slice them in half lengthwise, and scoop out the seeds and white ribs.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and optional ingredients like green onions or bacon.
  3. Spoon the filling into each jalapeño half, being careful not to overfill.
Cooking
  1. Choose your cooking method: Bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes or air fry at 375-390°F for 8-10 minutes.
  2. If making mummy pops, wrap the filling jalapeños in crescent roll dough and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.

Notes

For serving, pair poppers with dip options like ranch or salsa. Best enjoyed warm.
