Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 12 eggs Eggs (as many as you want, I usually do 6 to 12) Use slightly older eggs for easier peeling.
  • 1 cup 1 cup water Water for the Instant Pot.
Equipment
  • 1 Instant Pot (any size works)
  • 1 Trivet or steamer rack Helps keep eggs elevated.
  • 1 A bowl of ice water For cooling the eggs.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot.
  2. Place the trivet inside and set the eggs on the trivet in a single layer if you can, but stacking a little is fine.
  3. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing.
Cooking
  1. Cook on High Pressure for 5 minutes.
  2. When the timer ends, let the pot sit for 5 minutes. Do nothing, just breathe.
  3. After 5 minutes, carefully release the remaining pressure (quick release).
Cooling & Peeling
  1. Move eggs straight into an ice bath for 5 minutes.
  2. Peel and enjoy, or store them for later.

Notes

Store unpeeled eggs in a covered container in the fridge for up to 7 days. For peeled eggs, store in a container with a lid and add a dry paper towel.
