Ingredients
  

For the Punch
  • 4 cups chilled black cherry juice or dark berry juice
  • 3 cups chilled grape juice
  • 4 cups lemon lime soda, chilled
  • 2 cups ginger ale, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • a few drops black food coloring (optional) Use lightly for extra color
  • Frozen berries or frozen cherries for ice cubes Helps keep the punch cold without watering it down
  • Gummy worms, plastic spiders, or candy eyes for garnish Keep it playful
For the Dry Ice Setup
  • 1 to 2 pounds dry ice Small chunks are easier to control
  • 1 Tongs and insulated gloves For safety while handling dry ice
  • 1 A small bowl, mesh strainer, or a dry ice cage To keep dry ice separate from the punch

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chill all juices and sodas in the fridge for at least a few hours.
  2. Set the cauldron bowl in its serving location.
  3. Add a few handfuls of frozen berries or cherries to the bowl.
  4. Pour in the black cherry juice, grape juice, and fresh lemon juice. If desired, add a drop or two of black food coloring.
  5. Add lemon lime soda and ginger ale just before guests arrive.
  6. Use tongs and gloves to place the dry ice into a separate container, then lower it into the punch bowl to create fog.
  7. Garnish the punch with gummy worms right before serving.

Notes

Mix the juices ahead of time and keep in the fridge. Add soda, garnish, and dry ice right before serving for the best effect.
