Ingredients
  

Pork Chops Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Pork chops (bone-in or boneless, about 1 inch thick) Thicker chops are preferable for tenderness.
Gravy Ingredients
  • 1 can Cream soup or gravy mix Can use a lighter broth based gravy.
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch For thickening if gravy is too thin.
  • 2 cups Beef or chicken broth To cook with the pork chops.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  2. Place the pork chops in the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the cream soup or gravy mix and broth over the pork chops.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork chops are tender.
  2. If the gravy is too thin, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir it into the crockpot; cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until thickened.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, roasted green beans, salad, or buttery corn for a complete meal. Can add sour cream or cream cheese near the end for a creamier gravy.
