  • 2 to 3 medium potatoes About 1 pound, Russet recommended for best crispiness.
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons oil (olive oil or avocado oil) Use about 1 to 2 teaspoons per pound of potatoes.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Smoked paprika is recommended.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Plus more to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste optional seasonings (e.g., onion powder, dried herbs, chili flakes, grated parmesan)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the potatoes into small, even cubes, about 1/2 inch.
  2. Rinse the cubes quickly in cool water, then dry them very well with a clean towel.
  3. Toss the dried cubes with oil and seasonings in a bowl, ensuring even distribution.
  4. Preheat the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Add the seasoned potato cubes to the air fryer in a single layer if possible.
  2. Cook at 380°F (193°C) to 400°F (200°C) for about 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket every 6 to 8 minutes.
  3. Taste and add more salt while the potatoes are hot, if needed.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure potatoes are dried well and do not overcrowd the basket. Feel free to experiment with different seasonings based on your mood.
