Ingredients
  

For the Roulade
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Boneless and skinless
For the Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese or ricotta Creamy center
  • 2 cups spinach Fresh or thawed, squeezed dry
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced or garlic powder as substitute
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese For a salty punch
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes or roasted red peppers Optional for extra color
For Seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Flatten the chicken breast by placing it between two sheets of plastic wrap or inside a zip bag and pound until even thickness is achieved.
  2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
  3. Spread the creamy filling evenly on the chicken, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Roll the chicken tightly from the narrow end and secure with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF (200ºC).
  2. Place the roulade seam-side down in a baking dish and bake until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF (74ºC), about 25 to 30 minutes.
  3. Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For best results, do not overfill the roulade. You can customize the filling with various ingredients and use different seasonings to match your taste.
