Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Stir together the chicken, broccoli, cream of chicken soup (or substitute), sour cream, half of the cheese, and seasonings.
- Spread the mixture in the greased baking dish.
- Top with the remaining cheese and the crushed cracker or panko mixture.
Baking
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the topping is golden.
Notes
You can prepare the casserole up to the topping and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Add topping just before baking for optimal crispness. It freezes well without the topping for up to 2 months.
