- Get the chicken crispy. Bake or air fry frozen crispy chicken until really crisp. If it's homemade, cook until golden and crunchy.
- Toss the crispy chicken with buffalo sauce in a bowl, starting with a little sauce and adding more as needed to coat.
- Lay a tortilla down, and add a small handful of shredded lettuce or cabbage first.
- Add the buffalo chicken on top, then drizzle ranch or blue cheese dressing over it.
- Add any extras like pickles, onion, or cheese. Be cautious not to overstuff the wrap.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it tightly from the bottom up.
- Toast the wrap in a nonstick skillet over medium heat with a tiny smear of butter, seam side down first, for 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
- Let the wrap rest for about a minute before slicing to help the filling settle.
Notes
To achieve a perfect wrap, use a large tortilla, keep wet ingredients away from the tortilla, avoid excessive buffalo sauce, and toast seam side down first. Crunchy add-ins like pickles or thinly sliced onion enhance the texture.
