Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 Crispy chicken tenders or cutlets Homemade or store bought, baked or air fried until crispy.
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce Use your favorite brand, mild or hot.
  • 2 large Tortillas Burrito size works best.
  • 1/4 cup Ranch or blue cheese dressing Choose based on preference.
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • 1 Butter A tiny bit for toasting the wrap.
  • to taste Diced pickles Optional but great.
  • to taste Red onion Optional but great.
  • to taste Shredded cheddar Optional additive.
  • to taste Sliced avocado Optional for creaminess.

Method

Preparation
  1. Get the chicken crispy. Bake or air fry frozen crispy chicken until really crisp. If it's homemade, cook until golden and crunchy.
  2. Toss the crispy chicken with buffalo sauce in a bowl, starting with a little sauce and adding more as needed to coat.
  3. Lay a tortilla down, and add a small handful of shredded lettuce or cabbage first.
  4. Add the buffalo chicken on top, then drizzle ranch or blue cheese dressing over it.
  5. Add any extras like pickles, onion, or cheese. Be cautious not to overstuff the wrap.
  6. Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it tightly from the bottom up.
  7. Toast the wrap in a nonstick skillet over medium heat with a tiny smear of butter, seam side down first, for 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  8. Let the wrap rest for about a minute before slicing to help the filling settle.

Notes

To achieve a perfect wrap, use a large tortilla, keep wet ingredients away from the tortilla, avoid excessive buffalo sauce, and toast seam side down first. Crunchy add-ins like pickles or thinly sliced onion enhance the texture.
