  • 2 pieces very ripe bananas The brown speckly ones are perfect.
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces) Adds creaminess and sweetness.
  • 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream Must be cold for whipping.

Preparation
  1. Mash the bananas until mostly smooth with a few small bits for texture. Set aside.
  2. Pour the cold heavy whipping cream into a large bowl and whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in the sweetened condensed milk into the whipped cream without knocking out the air.
  4. Add the mashed bananas and fold until evenly mixed.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a loaf pan or freezer safe container, smooth the top, cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Serving Suggestions
  1. Scoop the ice cream into bowls and top with crushed vanilla wafers or sliced bananas.
  2. Drizzle with caramel or chocolate sauce before serving.
  3. Serve in cones or as sundaes with whipped cream and cookies.

Notes

Best enjoyed within 1 to 2 weeks. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes at room temperature before scooping if it’s too hard. Can add cookies or extra banana slices before freezing for variation.
