  • 12 to 16 ounces Fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons Olive oil Enough to lightly coat
  • 2 to 3 cloves Garlic, finely minced Or 1 teaspoon garlic powder if in a rush
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper
  • 1 pinch Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 squeeze Lemon (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the green beans, then dry them really well with a towel.
  2. Toss beans with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl for even coating.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
Cooking
  1. Air fry the green beans for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  2. For thicker beans, you might need to cook for 11 to 12 minutes.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt or a squeeze of lemon if desired.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket for best results. If you notice garlic burning, consider using garlic powder during cooking and tossing with fresh garlic afterward. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
