Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough Ingredients
  • 1 box box cake mix Any flavor, but vanilla, lemon, strawberry, and funfetti are recommended.
  • 2 large large eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil Vegetable, canola, or melted butter.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional, but enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 to 1 cup mix ins Easter sprinkles, pastel M&Ms, white chocolate chips, or chopped mini eggs.
  • a pinch salt If the cake mix is very sweet.

Method
 

Preparing the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract until it becomes a thick dough.
  3. Fold in your chosen mix ins.
Baking the Cookies
  1. Scoop the dough into balls, approximately 1.5 tablespoons each, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  2. Press a few extra candies on top for decoration.
  3. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, removing from the oven when the centers still look slightly underdone.
Cooling
  1. Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Cookies can be stored in an airtight container for 1 to 2 days. For variations, try using different cake mix flavors or mix ins as suggested.
