Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef Browned and drained
  • 4 medium potatoes Peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup Can substitute with cream of chicken or cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Add a small amount before serving for extra gooeyness
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • to taste garlic powder Optional for added flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, then drain off any excess grease.
  2. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
Layering & Cooking
  1. Layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle some salt, pepper, and garlic powder over the potatoes.
  3. Add half of the browned ground beef on top.
  4. Pour half of the cream of mushroom soup over the layers.
  5. Sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, ground beef, soup, and top with another cup of cheese.
  7. Cover the crockpot, set it to low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Notes

For best results, slice potatoes thinly and avoid overcrowding. You may substitute cheese types and add veggies for extra nutrition. Ensure to taste for seasoning before serving.
