- In a medium bowl, mix together the sour cream, softened cream cheese, and mayonnaise (if using) until smooth.
- Add the grated garlic, dried dill, parsley, chives, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then chill for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
Notes
The dip can be served with ridged potato chips, fresh veggies, or toasted pita wedges. If desired, sprinkle with additional chives and black pepper before serving. Leftovers can last in a sealed container for 3 to 4 days in the fridge. Give it a stir before serving, as it may loosen slightly as it sits.
