Preparation
- In a food processor, blend the feta, cream cheese (or yogurt), honey, olive oil, lemon zest, and a splash of milk until silky smooth.
- In a small pot, combine the cranberries, orange juice, sugar (or honey), and a pinch of salt. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens (about 8 to 10 minutes).
- Remove from heat and let the cranberry topping cool.
Assembly
- Spread the whipped feta in a shallow bowl or plate.
- Spoon the cranberry sauce over the top, allowing it to swirl into the feta.
- Garnish with chopped nuts, herbs, extra lemon zest, olive oil, and black pepper.
Notes
Serve with warm pita, crackers, or apple slices. This dip sits well for a couple of hours at cool room temperature. Make ahead and store separately for up to 3 days.
