Ingredients

For the filling
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened Full fat tastes best, but use what you like
  • 4 oz Feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup Dried cranberries Or chopped fresh cranberries if you prefer tart
  • 2 stalks Green onions, thinly sliced Can substitute with chives
  • 1 tbsp Honey Optional; adds sweetness
  • 1 tbsp Orange zest Optional; enhances flavor
  • 1 pinch Black pepper Optional; adds a slight kick
For the assembly
  • 4 large Soft flour tortillas Burrito size works best for bigger spirals

Method

Preparation
  1. Soften the cream cheese; microwave for about 10 seconds if needed.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, feta, cranberries, and green onions. Chop cranberries if they are too chewy.
  3. Spread the filling evenly over each tortilla, right up to the edges.
  4. Roll up each tortilla snugly like a wrap and wrap in plastic wrap.
  5. Chill the rolled tortillas for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
Serving
  1. Slice the rolled tortillas into 1-inch pinwheels using a sharp knife. Wipe the knife between cuts to maintain clean edges.
  2. Arrange pinwheels on a plate and serve.

Notes

Chill time helps achieve clean slices. Use fresh tortillas for better results. Feel free to tweak the filling with additional ingredients like nuts or herbs for flavor variations.
