For the punch
  • 4 cups cranberry juice Use 100% cranberry juice for better flavor.
  • 2 cups sparkling apple cider Bubbles add a celebratory feel.
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries For garnish.
  • 1 few slices orange For garnish.
  • 1 can ginger ale Add just before serving to maintain fizz.
  • 3 cups ice cubes To keep the punch cold.
  • 0.5 cups white rum or vodka Optional, for spiking the punch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large pitcher or punch bowl, pour in the cranberry juice.
  2. Add the sparkling apple cider and mix gently.
  3. Add orange slices and fresh cranberries for garnish.
  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Just before serving, add ginger ale and ice cubes, then stir gently.
  6. If desired, add white rum or vodka to individual servings.

Notes

For additional flair, consider garnishing with mint leaves or creating a sugar rim on the glasses. Experiment with different juices or sodas to customize your punch.
