Preparation
- Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a zip top bag and a rolling pin. Mix the crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into a 9x13 dish. Refrigerate while making the next layer.
- In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in a portion of Cool Whip and spread gently over the crust.
- Whisk the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until thickened. Let it sit for a couple of minutes to set, then spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the remaining Cool Whip on top, then sprinkle chocolate chips, Oreo crumbs, or desired toppings.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for better results.
Notes
For a clean slice, wipe the knife between cuts. Optional toppings can be added right before serving to maintain their crunch. If desired, adjust layers and toppings to fit personal preferences.
