Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F for about 3 minutes if necessary.
- Warm the chili in a small oven-safe dish or microwave for 60 to 90 seconds.
Cooking
- Place the hot dogs in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until skins are blistered.
- Remove the hot dogs and toast the buns in the basket for 1 to 2 minutes.
Assembly
- Place a hot dog in each bun, spoon warm chili over the top, and add shredded cheese.
- Return the assembled dogs to the air fryer for 1 to 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
Serving
- Top with your choice of onions, jalapenos, or other toppings. Serve immediately.
Notes
Toast buns separately to avoid sogginess; do not overload with chili for stability.
