Preparation
- Toast the waffles until crisp and golden. Set them on a sheet pan to stay warm.
- Cook the chicken tenders. Cut large tenders in half if necessary to fit the waffles.
- In a small bowl, stir together maple syrup, melted butter, and cayenne. Adjust to taste.
Assembly
- Assemble the sliders: layer a waffle, add chicken, then top with another waffle.
- Drizzle some syrup sauce inside each slider or brush the top waffle lightly with syrup.
- Insert toothpicks to hold the sliders together and serve while warm.
- Provide extra syrup sauce on the side for dipping.
