Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375 F (190 C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with parchment.
- Make the garlic butter by melting the butter, then stir in minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and a little parmesan. Let it sit for a minute.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured counter into a rough rectangle, about 12 by 16 inches.
- Brush most of the garlic butter over the dough, saving some for the top.
- Evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the dough.
- Roll the dough from the long side into a log and pinch the seam closed.
- Slice the log into 10 to 12 pieces.
Baking
- Place the rolls in the baking dish, leaving a little space between them. Brush the tops with the remaining garlic butter.
- Bake for 18 to 24 minutes until the tops are golden and cheese is bubbling. Optionally, broil for an extra 1 to 2 minutes for more color.
- Let cool for about 5 minutes before pulling apart.
Notes
These rolls are best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven, air fryer, or microwave.
