Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 box yellow cake mix You can also use white cake mix if needed.
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Use creamy peanut butter for best results.
  • 2 large eggs Large eggs for the right texture.
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil Canola oil also works.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional for added flavor.
Optional Add-ins
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips For a chocolate variation.
  • 1/4 cup jam For a PB&J vibe.
  • 1 cup mini peanut butter cups For hidden treasures.
  • 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles or M&Ms For decoration.
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes For added flavor after baking.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, creamy peanut butter, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.
  3. Scoop out small balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Flatten the dough balls slightly with a fork for a classic crosshatch design.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, do not overbake the cookies. They should look soft and set up perfectly chewy as they cool. For deliciously warm cookies, reheat in the microwave for a few seconds before eating.
